The way I see it, both RIV and Grand Flo 2 had things going against them. RIV had the resale restrictions, and Flo2 only had Studios but didn't have a proper Studio kitchen. So my guess is that these things contributed to both resorts not selling very well. Especially for current members who...

You can book the first 7 nights at exactly 7 months, and then add on one night at a time until you have all 9. Or you can wait until 2 days after the 7 month date and book all 9 nights at once. I wouldn't take a chance with that though.

When do reservations generally open up for Spring 2024? I see it's only through March right now.

Are you a DVC member, or are you renting points? DVC owners can buy a policy that covers them for the entire use year. I believe it costs $99.

If you plan to spend a lot of time at Epcot, definitely stay at the Yacht Club. The monorail to/from Epcot is a royal pain from the Grand Floridian as you have to take 2 trains and the MK monorail makes all the local stops.

It was happening to me too this morning, but fixed itself without having to do anything a little while later.
