Well, the 90 minute wait paid off. I got a cabana for two days of my 8 day trip... phew!

I called at exactly 6am CT for a cabana rental and was quoted 90 minute wait. I'm now 1 hour and 10 minutes in and still waiting. It's been a year since I've had to call Disney for anything and wait times were bad then but not at 6am on the dot.

Allears shows the previous dinner price as $55 per adult.

It really is a terrible value compared to previous offerings. Not sure what the appeal is without the crab legs for me. I’m second guessing a dinner res now.

Woohoo! I’ll see you there. I booked a good AP rate at the Swan and changed our flight to leave Sunday at 9:15pm. I eventually did find availability at BC for that one night but it was rack rate and couldn’t bring myself to pay $616 a night 😖.

I told the CM I had an AP and asked her if I could get the discount applied. She just told me to show my AP to the attendant on the day of, but I was still charged $318. Currently on hold for 2+ hours to see if they can apply the discount and see if anything else opened up for our week (lol).

Right! I thought flights were becoming more stable after our early March flights weren't touched. They also changed our initial flight to leave 10 minutes later but it's because they actually added another non-stop to MCO that day.

Same here. It showed up when I last rented in 2019 but not for upcoming trip, so I created a note w/ the confirmation number & cabana # in MDE. The charge went through on my CC as "WDW DINING RESV".

They do not allow non-resort guests access to Stormalong Bay or the cabanas. They are pretty strict about that and stress it on the phone when you book that the entire party must be staying at the hotel.

I’m not sure if this has changed but when we rented one in 2019 the cabana host refused a tip from another family and said she couldn’t take it, so we didn’t try to tip her after that. We did tip our server that brought us food and drinks.

I would be shocked if you did not get one on the last day of a 9 day trip. That’s my plan for June too. We have a 9pm flight home, so the cabana all day will be nice. And it just so happened the only cabana available was on the last day of my 7 day trip.

Well called 60 days out at exactly 7am est and managed to get a cabana the last day of my trip on 6/19. Completely booked for the week already.

I booked BC for 5/30-6/5 with the PH rate earlier this week. But now I need to push it out and can't find availability for Beach or Yacht for 1 week in June with the discount... ugh.
