I think this is a perfect compromise. After, you could get a cocktail and dessert from the Hearthstone and sit in the GCH lobby or by the fireplace and enjoy the ambiance.

I make my requests for room location and beds when I make my online reservation. Is it better to do this by phone? And would a follow-up call be annoying as I already noted my request or would it be supportive?

A favorite hang out for an afternoon drink or lunch was at the Uva Bar and I haven't been back since it closed. What other places would you recommend in DTD that capture its outdoor ambiance. Naples bar is okay but I feel like I am staring at the bar rather than watching the world go by.

There is a very different vibe between Craftsman's Bar and Craftman's Grill. The Bar is more upscale and has much nicer ambiance. If you want to go there, I recommend an ADR if you want to sit at a table. You can, though, often find a seat at the Bar for one ore two and the menu is the same.

This is great. I just realized I will be backpacking the entire time I need to make my 60 day ADRs so I need to get my dbs to do it. They always let me get up each morning and manage it so this is just perfect to give to them in a few months. Thank you!!!

I just love Disboards...thank you all for the helpful information. One more question, I have a 3 day PH; I will be going in November for 5 days. Can I upgrade my ph to a 5 day so I can make park reservations ? And, if so, can I do this in the Ap or with a call or....?

I made a couple of ADRs for an upcoming trip for my family. If I am not present (I am thinking to not go on this trip), can another family member use my name for the ADR? Also, I have a 3 day ph I got through Disney; can I use it in November if I cancel my park reservations.
