I'm NOT #3... I just had my visitor..and after all this news I've swore off DH forever!!! He laughed and said.. I wouldn't mind being the #3 for you all.. Yeah, right... so he says now!!!

Brooke, I've done told you I'm watching that baby.. after all your BF lives up here so you'll be visiting often.. OH, shoot.. should I call your DBF and tell him the exciting news.. maybe I should call the local news channels...

Congrats Brooke and Michelle!!!!! It is such an exciting time. If either of you have girls I have some cute disney outfits to share (DD's have October birthdays) so should more or less be right seasons to fit!!!! Hmm I guess I should ask if your okay with pass-it-arounds (We usually don't call them hand-me-downs) anyway......

And while BAMB says pampers or huggies... for girl at newborn stage I say pampers all the way, but for size one and up we have LOVED BJ's brand of diapers.

I posted on Jenny's thread... my general practioner stopped nursing after a month... so your OB can't be that upset LOL MOst of us on here were formula babies and we are all good (and my sister and I were even 8 weeks premature... if you can give a preemie formula, healthy baby ) anyway if you decide to nurse I can lend some support etc.

SIOH So glad you are finding out the gender, we know what to send etc. Michelle are you too I cannot recall

I know--this is the latest I've been up in FOREVER! I'm off to bed soon, though. I'm just so excited to tell people, so I'm awake!! You know I'll be there to see DBF . I told DH that we would be ordering a teeny-tiny Colts jersey as soon as we know the gender (it might need to be one of the pink ones, you know??). You know we have to raise a Colts fan!! My baby's first words. . ."and the kick by Vinatieri is GOOD!!"

Ok BAMB we need to rework this 40 sec. rule..can it be more like the 5 sec rule..sometimes I get some really good comebacks...and they aren't as funny if they don't post immediately! (5 sec rule like when you drop the oreo on the floor... 5 secs and it's still good.. although my kids say its 10 secs.. once they complain.. mom its on the floor.. its still good pick it up! LOL)

Thanks!! I know some people want to be surprised with the gender, and that's great, but I'm so not good with surprises!! Plus, I like to plan!! I can't wait!

I love the princess idea--although I'm not sure my child will ever act like a princess (I never managed it!!!)

Yes well I was the princess growing up and my DD wanted nothing to do with the princesses!

We had no boy names whatsoever for DD, thank goodness she was a girl! We really didn't have one for DS until a few months before he was born and out of no where the name Grant came to me. Good thing DH liked it.

I'm dying to find out if it is a boy or girl. I had 2 ultrasounds with my first that said girl, and then 3 days after my pink baby shower found out it was really a boy!!!! Gotta love modern technology! You can be sure with this one I want at least 7 ultrasounds to confirm as well as a notarized statement from the ultrasound tech! If this one ends up being a girl - watch out - I will be a pink shopping maniac!

Yep, they told me DD was 99.9% a boy from the ultrasounds.. she came out and announced it was a girl.. I made them go get my dad to verify... Luckily I had chosen a uni-sex name so I only had to change her middle name...than used what was to be "his" middle name w/ my DS11... worked out pretty well!

I can see you and I going into our ultrasounds with a form letter and a notary public. "Are you willing to sign this and notarize it that you are correct???"
