I am taking my mom, 68, and my two kids, who will be 10 & 8 in May 2019. I've been to Disney with my kids and husband twice before, and we normally do two days at MK, and run back and forth like crazy through the park to hit everything! It wasn't until after I already (inefficiently) booked fastpasses on my last trip that someone here mentioned dividing the park up so you hit stuff in the same vicinity on day 1, and the rest of the park on day 2.
In an effort to make the trip a little less taxing on my mom, who is in decent shape, but at 68, moves slower than the kids and I, I would like to employ this "divvy MK in two" strategy. But I'm having trouble figuring out where I should be drawing my lines. My initial thought was to do Fantasyland and Tomorrowland one day, and everything else another day... but I think Fantasyland and Tomorrowland have the most attractions, so we might really be stuffing one day with too many things, and our next day in Frontierland and Adventureland and Liberty Square would be too light? What about doing Tomorrowland and whatever land is at the bottom left of the map, and then Fantasyland and whatever is at the top left one day? Would that be more even?
Any thoughts on how to split this up most efficiently would be greatly appreciated! How have you done it? What would you recommend?
