Got a manicure on the wish three weeks ago… it chipped the next day and looked terrible by the end of the cruise. It was expensive too. I wouldn’t recommend.

My FIL Fell on black ice a few years ago… hit the back of his head on the driveway, not his face, and he had the same injuries. Two broken eye bones despite not hitting them.

Went to an ortho and had an mri and X-rays done. I have a brace the size Of my entire leg right now. and seriously. The whole thing turned me from upset to angry and is one of the reasons I never stopped to get ice. I just wanted to be back at the hotel.

Reminds me I never sent my email to complain about our bus adventures.. not that it would do any good..

Update: apparently I partially dislocated my kneecap AND broke part of my medial tibia on the course… now I feel a lot better regarding my DNF knowing it wasn’t all in my head…

so I was also running with you at some point before we got on the same bus. I wish I’d known and we could’ve been together on that miserable miserable adventure. I too made a promise to my run buddy we’d do it again next year.

@bumbershoot I think I was!!! I was up at the very very front because I was on before the actual mile marker. I technically stopped right out of the water station. Red hair, purple shirt. If you had a mutinous bus it was def the one I was on

So I’ve been on this sweeper bus for over an hour.. we’ve been lost.. we’e been stuck… and we even did some off roading onto some grass… I should’ve just kept going at this point. I think I’m going to live on this bus ETA: I finally made it off the stupid bus!

I missed you all this morning. I swear I tried to find you guys. I did finish the 10k but I was behind the balloon ladies for a bit. This has to be one of my worst races I’ve done but I at least finish. Gonna see how I do tomorrow
