    Annoying habits your neighbors have?

My neighbor parks in a non parking spot against his curb (we are in townhomes). There are plenty of parking spaces so I don't know why he can't use one.

How many people are still working from home who did not work from home pre-covid?

Ive been working from home since March 17. I go in twice a month for things that I can't do at home. Our corporate office said they are going to start pulling us back in February but it will be on a rotating basis so we wont all be there the same days. I love working from home - so much less...

    Work parties/gifts

Last year we had a catered breakfast and each got a small gift. This year they are just giving us an extra day off (January 4).

What annoys you about your own home?

That when I come downstairs there is no light switch at the bottom of the stairs. I have to walk across the living room in the dark to get to the switch. And conversely, when I go upstairs at night, I have to walk across the dark living room to get to the stairs. My living room is small and my...

If your a nurse do you do this in front of patients?

When I was in recovery for a D&C that I had to have because my pregnancy was no longer viable, the two nurses in there were talking about how hard it was to find cute maternity clothes. I had JUST lost my pregnancy - and I was shocked that they would do that. It was 17 years ago and I remember...

    First Car

I bought my first car myself when I was 16 since my parents couldn't afford to buy me one. It was a 1980 V8 mustang and it was $158.93 a month. In the mid 80's that was a lot for a 16 year old but I never missed a payment. My parents did pay for my insurance and maintenance/repairs. I drove...

    American Idol

I must be the only one that didn't like Madison. She could sing but she was so boring. Nothing about her really stood out to me. I think the best man won - but if that song that they made him sing at the end (Flame) is any indication of where they are steering him then he is screwed. That was...

Would you be mad? Cancelling via text message... Vacation plans

If they dropped out they should pay the costs that were nonrefundable! That is so not fair.

What is the worst purchase you ever made?

Cool Sculpting. It was VERY expensive, incredibly painful, and I couldn't really tell a difference after.

How did you tell your family you were pregnant?

I put a hamburger bun in our oven. When my mom got there I asked her to check the thing in the oven. She pulled it out and said "it's a bun" and I said "where was it?" and she said "in the oven......oh my god you are PREGNANT!!!!!!"

    Invisalign for teens?

My son - age 13 - has invisilign. I think he's had it about 4 months so far. He's not mentioned any pain or discomfort. He changes out his invisilign trays each week and has done well with wearing them and taking care of his teeth. The orthodontist is pleased with the progress. We were told my...

    Spinoff: Attending NFL Games

My ex husband works for the Carolina Panthers and has done so since 2010. He gets two tickets and a parking pass to each game as part of his incentive package but he has to pay taxes on them. He works on game day so I have been to most home games since 2010. Now that we are not together I still...

$194 per ticket!!! Whoa! NFL games

I very much enjoyed when the Patriots visited here for the preseason since we beat them :). Our preseason tickets have a face value of $43 but during the regular season I think they are in the $175 range. And if we go to the playoffs they are even higher. My ex husband gets his tickets free from...

    American Idol- I'm so confused!

I LOVE Katie Perry and the other judges. They are very entertaining and so much better than when Simon Cowell was on there.

    Seeking Sister Wives

I love this show. The family you are talking about - the first wife April just seems like a witch. She's kind of hateful to both of the other wives. And the second wife is nice enough but her speech impediment makes her hard to understand and her kids sound just like her. I like the third wife...

Has anyone had a Septoplasty for a deviated septum?

This sounds like what they are doing for mine - the turbinate on my left nostril has grown very large. And the Dr. said they'd be putting plastic splint things in too.

Has anyone had a Septoplasty for a deviated septum?

Im in the process of a divorce - will be on my ex's insurance for another month or so. The surgery is 100% covered if I do it while on his insurance - if I wait til I get my own insurance it will cost a lot more. If I am ever going to do it - now is the time.

Has anyone had a Septoplasty for a deviated septum?

I was in a car wreck when I was 16 - no seatbelt, hit the windshield with my face. They said I had a slight crack in my nose but didn't need to do anything about it. I'm 48 now. Over the years my breathing has gotten worse and I wake up most nights with one side of my nose stopped up. And I...

How much to pay a retired neighbor to let puppy out 2x a day?

I simply mentioned that because she seemed more interested in having something to do than in the payment. Wasn't meant to be offensive......

How much to pay a retired neighbor to let puppy out 2x a day?

I work 15 minutes from home so if need be I can come home. And when necessary I can work from home. She goes to yoga and exercise class most days so we agreed that 10:30 and 1ish would work. We leave for work/school at 8 and I am usually home by 4:00.
