    Stanford Inn and Suites Questions

We did! We LOVED this place. We chose to walk. About a thirty minute walk. It wasn't bad at all except the night we chose to walk home with balloons in the wind! The room was nice and it was huge. We also loved the breakfast. We'd get sausages and fruit loops and walk to the park.

They still sell swords and light sabers.

So wish they didn't sell those things. Spent PTN last time getting whacked every time the child behind me got excited.

Any way to dine at Club 33?

A very gracious person whom I did not know got us in three years ago. Best experience of our lives. But this person did ask me to be very careful because if I didn't pay or did something inappropriate, they would get in trouble and could lose their membership!

Adult ordering off the kids menu!

We don't get drinks. We get water and make it into kool-aid :). And we do share at times but sometimes with all that walking we get hungry. But my point is that the kids food should be appetizing so that the kids will eat it. And varied like the adult meals. So we don't have to order adult meals...

Adult ordering off the kids menu!

Seriously? Shelf stable milk boxes? Did not know such a thing existed. I will have to look for that!

Adult ordering off the kids menu!

No, they can't share. They just fight over who got more. And they don't drink much water.

Adult ordering off the kids menu!

No. There is no really safe way to bring milk in. We have to buy a drink. Which sucks because two milks is four dollars. So two kids meals at flos would have been 12 dollars. We bought a chicken meal and two milks, which brought it up to 16 bucks. And the kids ate none of it :(.

Adult ordering off the kids menu!

We actually do because we have selective eaters who will only drink milk :(.

Adult ordering off the kids menu!

We did that, too, but it is more expensive to buy an adult meal and split it between the two girls because then you have to factor in the cost of a drink.

Question about Budget cutbacks & character meals

We just went to Ariel's and we loved it. Ariel, Tiana, Rapunzel, Belle, and Cinderella were all there. Only Snow White was missing to make my girl 100 percent happy and we found her the next day!

Adult ordering off the kids menu!

That's what I hate about Disneyland. The adult meals are good and the kids meals are gross. It was really hard to find a good meal for my girls to eat except at Ariel's Grotto.

    "It never rains in California............

And the rain is miserable. Shut down all the rides my girl wanted to ride. Then, trying to keep a 1 year old and 3 year old dry in a rain poncho and a plastic thing over their stroller was horrible. It ruined our day. And it didn't thin crowds at all. It turned all lines that were indoors into...

What Not to Eat While Pregnant In the Parks

I read somewhere it's particularly bad in unpasteurized milk. The amish have a high rate of miscarriage because they don't pasteurize milk.

Tortilla Joe's - Is it really that bad?

Went there once. It was massively expensive and being from Las Vegas where there is a lot of good Mexican food, it wasn't very authentic. I wouldn't go back.

Might have to postpone June to December?!? ..

And the other thing to consider is what happens if you have a c-section? There is no way I could have gone on any trip 8 weeks after a c-section, let alone one month.

Might have to postpone June to December?!? ..

I wouldn't take a two month old to the parks in December. I had a baby who was born in August and almost was hospitalized due to RSV in December. She hadn't been around anybody but our families when she got sick. There are too many people who are sick and a baby that young is too fragile IMO to...

What Not to Eat While Pregnant In the Parks

I agree with talk to your doctor. But thought I'd tell you my experience. My first I followed every rule to the letter. Not one lunch meat sandwich, not one hot dog, not one sip of caffeine, etc. My first born has severe disabilities. My second born I decided not to follow the rules because...
