    Trattoria al Forno for Dinner?

If you want italian then I would highly recommend walking to the Swan and eating at Il Mulino. We ate there twice on our last trip. It gets bonus points for being on Open Table so you don't have to mess with the Disney dining reservation system.

Best place to carb load before 1/2 marathon?

You shouldn't need to carb load to run a half marathon. If you just eat normal healthy meals in the days before your race your body should be able to store enough glycogen to get you through the race. Just take some Clif Shots or something with you during the race.

Thanks for the info. I like quality and quantity. I guess it's just Shulas for me then.

    Shula's Opinions

Rusty How are the portion sizes at Bluezoo? I don't mind paying the prices on the menu. I run about 80 miles a week and need the calories to match that. When I am paying $50 for an entree I expect that I won't have to go buy a bag of pretzels after dinner to make sure I have enough fuel for...

I need suggestions for a sit down dinner at Epcot!!

I am extremely particular about my food. My favorite meal at Disney on our last trip was Garden Grill. I generally do NOT like bland American food but the turkey and steak were both excellent. The character interaction was great as well.

    Maelstrom

We went on this ride about 5 times in 30 minutes one day at Epcot while waiting for the rest of the family. The best part was the movie wasn't showing, so we could just walk through back to the start. Also, riding this is a good reason to hang around the Norway Pavillion with the really...

People who complain about the cost...

Well with shore excursions it is a personal thing. I extensively read cruisecritic before cruising and found that it is almost never a good idea to book an excursion through the ship. Almost everywhere you go has the same excursion for half the price with half the people going. The only...

People who complain about the cost...

It really depends. I have been on 7 day cruises that cost $500 a person (plus $10/day for tips)which includes all my food for the week. So my wife and I can vacation for $1140 plus a $150 hotel room for the night before the cruise plus $80 in gas to get from our house in SA to Galveston and...

    People are getting ruder

Whether or not you believe in the rule is of little consequence. Not standing on the left side of the escalator is a social norm, especially in places such as DC and New York. When you go against the vast majority of society and something bad happens, who do you really have to blame?
